want me to press on to Berlin without her.

I am taking the cheapo back door route to the Apple:

#100 bus to Bergstrom AFB where the new airport is,
Southwest Airlines to Islip, Long Island, out the airport
and up Smithtown Avenue to the Long Island Railroad
Ronkonkoma station. Take the 3:10pm, transfer at
Jamaica and on to Penn Station.
