Wayne: you've got male posting envy

Kate never shared with us her, uh, Canadian experiences. In fact, our last
meeting with Kate, I think, was an afternoon when, after her irrational
tirade on how marajuana immuteably (sp?) leads to heroin addition, I said I
wouldn't tell Bobby not to smoke dope. He was, at that time, having some
problems with alcohol, I believe. Kate began to cry and I could tell that
she was crying because, somehow, she felt personally betrayed by my
statement. I really liked Bobby. I really, really like his father. But I
was not going to lie to him or tell him something I did not believe because
Kate wanted something (else) to use to manipulate her son. Frankly, Bobby
will be better off when Kate passes away. She is, now a sick person. We
stopped seeing her and have had little or no contact in the past ten years.
Life is too short.
Both Honor and I are actually very disappointed in this because we always
valued Kate. And Robert.
