The Economist capsule summary of French healthcare

Wayne,
Not only do I think that, I've come to know it from the dunderheads who "manage/select" the food service venues enjoying monopolies at state agencies, a mere tip of the iceberg of fattening-food market outlets. When I watch the lower level employees waddling up to the service buffet at the Railroad Commission building to get their daily ration of fried things I just cringe. I feel that it must be that they are being deliberately killed off to spare the retirement fund for the top dogs through the ill advised foods offered up. There are no good choices at these poor excuses for cafeterias, and the servings are gargantuan.
Frances
