Johnny P. is dead. The Statesman obit referred to him as "John Perry Womack, 75, a long time librarian for the University of Texas and resident of Austin . . ." But I just knew him as Johnny P., Hog and close friend of Paula Dean. Do you remember him, Ewie? He was an atypical Hog, not especially rowdy, but he was a kind, peaceful human who knew the value of a good party. RIP. Peace and love, Harry
