Interstellar Communication Difficulties

Thank G-d (just kidding), there are no devout traditional Christians here
and
the 3 jews on the list aren't religious either.

We know the bible is bullshit. The world does show some progress since
the scientific revolution.

But folks need some lie to tell themselves, or some folks do, so its no
wonder
that other bullshit takes its place.

So no few of this lists' subscribers have converted to new age bullshit.

But this is a kind of schizophrenia because these converts do not stop
living their life using and/or maintaining machinery which is science which
is NOT bullshit.

So college professors claim that no proposition can be established as
true, but they still hunt around to get a competent mechanic to maintain
their car. This strikes me as amusing but when I have pointed the
contradiction, they aren't having any of it. Imagine mechanics fixing a
car whilst professing artsy-fartsy relatavism. To fix a car is to go through
a demaning tree of logical alternatives.



Actually this can be done as I have met many artful mechanicals who
do the artsy-fartsy stuff when they are not working or when they are
on break.
