Frances,
The definitive characteristic of homosexuals does NOT
lie in the avoidance of female genitalia. NOT NOT NOT
The definitive characteristic of homosexuals lies in
their desire to fellate penises and etcetera.
The erect penis (one's own or someone else's) is for
some the el maximo turn on. And not only homosexuals.
Females too are often in the prise of such a turnon.
Even heterosexual males are often quite turned on by
looking at themselves, turgid or in the process thereto.
If you are interested in understanding homosexuality,
you must read Richard Posner's Sex and Reason, out of
print but available in libraries.
As it turns out homosexuality is best understood using
the Kinsey 1 to 6 scale. Not too surprisingly, one's
degree of homosexuality is a function of oportunity,
thus sailors, prisoners and priests have a higher
Kinsey number than they would otherwise have pari
passu.
