Roseanne, like Homer Simpson, is a cultural litmus
paper test. Those that like both and those that hate
both live in buildings on opposite sides of the street
thus are arguing from different premises

no, Rosie is an objectionable Irish type woman. Roseanne
is objectionable differently and much more to my taste;
indeed she remarked on the Roseanne/Rosie
similarity/difference in the above referenced TV show
