I sent this letter to the Jim Lehrer Newshour this morning

Dear Mr. Lehrer,

Recently you instituted a silent memorial 
of U.S. military deaths in Iraq at the 
end of your program by showing their photo, 
name, age and home town.

I am writing to ask why you have 
discontinued doing this without explanation.

to pressure from the White House to discontinue
memorializing individual deaths of soldiers
in Iraq.
