Jessica Lynch hero song

I found these lyrics on the site for Lynch's home-area newspaper. It's now a
popular country-western song. I was struck by how closely it resembles those
portraits of "heroic workers" done as propaganda during the Soviet Union
era. It fits as pro-rightist pro-war propaganda right to the heroic post-war
career Jessica will supposedly pursue as she continues her existence as a
living propaganda machine:
" And she’s the one who’s born to teach/Oh the many children she will
reach/Giving them the roots they need to grow."

"SHE IS A HERO (and a Woman, Too)"

Dedicated to PFC Jessica Lynch

See that lady over there

She could be from anywhere

You’d never know by looking in her eyes

That she is full of inner strength

And she would go to any length

To help someone in need or save a life

It’s simply how she chose to live

A gift of love she freely gives

To stand for those who cannot stand alone

Faithfully she's planted seeds

With actions and courageous deeds

And now it's time she reaps what she has sown

CHORUS

She is a hero strong and true

A brave example of the red, white and blue

A daughter of freedom, a patriot through and through

She is a hero and a woman too.

She’s somewhere in the world tonight

Defending us with all her might

She knows what it means to sacrifice

She’s the one who soars among the stars

To bring back knowledge from afar

All for the improvement of our lives

She wears a red cross on her sleeve

And serves with pride for she believes

That she can make a difference to one soul

And she’s the one who’s born to teach

Oh the many children she will reach

Giving them the roots they need to grow
