i've noticed in your emails that you express yourself forcefully.
also that you are a hitter not a pitcher and are willing to 
ask hard questions. i dont think you were subscribed
to agl back at its beginning when Gerry was in full storm
writing long screeds full of New Mexico details and dietary
and astrological advice. he left in a huff. 

are you interested in hedges? i once told Frances in
all confidence that my secret agenda vis-a-vis agl was to 
reduce everyone else to silence. she immediately passed it 
on. and so it came to be but not in the way i expected
