Good stuff, Gerry. This with other posts, including todays excerpts which indicates (via the Washington Post) that there is quaffying of dissent on public airwaves, convinces me that our government already has been couped by a bunch of fanatics who want to dominate the world.
I just dream of the time when the anti-war point of view could be vindicated, as well as French Fries and the Dixie Chicks. Not that Hussein isn't a vicious, ruthless dictator of the Iraqi people, who deserve much better. At least he isn't a religious fanatic leader, like our pres.
Wouldn't it be really cool if something were to happen in the next 48 hours to expose the reality of the Bush religious regime, and their race to armageddon... for example, if Colin Powell were to resign in protest and personally admit that he thinks that Bush is a Kook and is surrounded by the same; kind of like when the Enron CEO charade fell apart.
I'm not doing anything to get ready for terrorist attack or in honor of orange alert status. Don't have extra water or batteries, or portable TV. Don't know why, it's all just too surreal.
