yes i edited out some of the lines of Mojo's Elvis paean

feeling myself quite knowing about St. Elvis but knowing
nothing about Michael J. Fox except that he is a short
type person who came down with very early Parkinson's
disease and was on in a classic TV show which i never saw, 
i wonder what he was "like" on his TV show that made him 
an agent of anti-Elvisness. lvsfan Margot?

on a related subject, my belief that blacks had/have a negative
view of Elvis is in some degree negated by the existence
of Elvis Mitchell a movie critic of the NYTimes who i just 
discovered is a black man. i feel in my bones that his 
parents MUST have named him Elvis, not as for example 
in the case of Elvis Costello who is self-named
