   I'm giving even odds - war by February 1st if not
sooner. Word around the White House is that Dubyah is
*very* displeased with Colin Powell who stretched him
across the pursue-the-UN-route barrel with a threat to
resign before the mid-term elections if Bush didn't
cave in.
   Bush did, and now with his Imperious Leader
election mandate, he has had just about enuf of Ol
Colin. 
   If and when it happens, look for Powell to resign
"to pursue other opportunities" just before the Jump
Off.
