Well hey,
I stole this drug link and iys text fair-an-square from
Bill Irwin earlier today and repost it on the texgreen (Texas Green
Party) list and then Bauldauf sees it there and reposts it back here,
but now as thoroughly stale old news (meaning from earlier today).

That which "goes down comes around" on the internet, which makes the
best previous gossip networks seem (no way I'm going to use niggerdly!),
uh -- feeble by comparison.

The truth has a slight edge over bullshit, all things being equal, but
since this slight edge is multiplied by the hyper-velocity of the
internet, as a media, it ends up with a giant advantage as the bottom
feeders suck it in, filter it out and pass it along the best nuggets. As
you may know, it was the Drudge report that broke the Monica Lewinsky
story first.

Welcome to the modern renaissance via the inexorable, uncomfortable
irresistable diffusion of truth over the internet. If the
self-publishing texts of the soviet era (Sama--?) could overthrow the
USSR, just think of what the internet can now do for our corporate
empire. -- Roger
