Bob.

I don't get it. It seems to me that this is a pretty strong recommendation
for New Age Christianity or, at least, Neo-Utilitarian Christianism. If all
the "heathens" can have "culture", ie. Really cool hair salons, why can't
Baptists? Afterall, all that immersion is really hard on the hair! One has
need of a really good conditioner. (Of course, you and I can pretty much
pass on this issue.)

Furthermore, it is pretty clear that she has a responsive ear in the Bush
Administration, especially regarding the poor. I admit some of her more
over-the-top observations about Deity Fahrting are challenging to the
orthodox mind, but these are tough times and really good Christians need to
have someone who is pressing them to become a more active part of the
political world. It is so hard for some these days to clearly focus on who
(or whom) they should hate. Hatred has slowly replaced love but then what
can one expect after the licentious debaucheries of the "love generation".
A backlash, against "love" is only natural and besides it keeps a good many
otherwise unqualified ignoramuses off the street and in their local pulpit!

So I am going to overlook your subtle sarcasm and just sit back and enjoy
what a REAL Christian can accomplish! No more DYWTBAM for me! No more
Survival! No more Stud Muffin gets a Hooker!

Yours in contemplation of a better world.
