thank you for speaking of this side. i had seriously considered getting off 
the list, feeling deeply estranged from many of the reactions. last night i 
slept well for the first time since 9.11 and woke up feeling the most normal 
i've felt.
i'm glad that i was here for this nightmare. i have learned a lesson in 
compassion. tears and sorrow remain just below the surface, but intense 
feelings of love do too. i pray it never goes away.
