The 1993 attack was a bomb in a van left in the basement
parking of one of the towers. Not a suicide attack either.
Atta thought up the notion of using 2 fully loaded
airliners to hit the towers just at that point where the
fire from the 40,000 gallons of fuel would weaken the
framework enough for the weight of the storeys above
the impact point to bring the buildings down.

for which newspaper John Hooper their reporter in
Germany ferreted out all the necessary clues
by interviewing Dittmar Marchule, Atta's supervising
professor for his MA in urban planning. Ain't science
grand?
