Judicial Watch alleges lying

Uh, the "smell test" isn't reliable. There are MANY things which are
absolutely odorless which kill you mucho quicko! (In the semiconductor
business they are called the "two step" gases, example: gallium arsenide.
You have "two steps" to get you ass out of the lab before you die. (GaAs
was/is used for "power" transistors, like stuff used in some military
equipment. It, like other semiconductor wafer platforms...most of which are
silicon...are grown in large bell jars. Had a guy tell me once that the
worst sound in the world was the "crackkkk" that one of these makes when it
begins to break open. If you were growing GaAs...you took one breath and
sprinted for the door.) The Semi industry uses a variety of "sniffers"
which we used to use when there was an alarm.
I don't want to be overly macabre but I suspect the odors/smoke emanating
from the WTC ruins are NOT coming from broken copiers and office equipment
but are, sadly, of biological origin, of which there could be almost 400
tons.
An article I read the other day stated that 94.6% (such precision!) of bad
things (explosives) that come in the mail, smell either like almonds
or...shoe polish! Almond odor is a characteristic of well known poisons and
described from Agathe Christie on down. I am sure Roger can dwell usefully
on the chemical makeup and size of bad polyesters, esters and resins. Even
the bad ones have good applications.
I digress.

don't know, but the news was revised to chemicals from fires, no levels.
they
simply advise that people on ground zero continue to wear masks, which few
appear to do. trust me, if you could smell it, you would know it is toxic.
