The ayes have it.
Mike, if you will, re-list Don Laird, and evidently we
should subscribe anyone who asks from now on. The
current feeling of the outspoken element of the group
is to have anybody speak about any subject, in any way
they please.
Personal note.
Maybe I'm kind of tired this morning with all the
physical work I did, moving this weekend. My computer
is still not connected at home, we watched game #7
last night rooting for the DBs instead. Then I
crashed.
Should have known that response to any kind of
organizing effort would be rejected. IMHO, those who
want to read spit-fire opinions about what is going on
can get in on any number of free web discussion
forums. But the group has chosen that the ghetto list
be the same. Open and free. Fine, I'll just start
deleting by name rather than reading some and then
reacting.
Bill Irwin: Sorry that you feel we are not being
creative or artistic enough for you, maybe our energy
has been sapped by offensive mis-information. Early in
the list we did a lot of beautiful exchanges on what
our last 25 (or so)-year trip has been, as well as our
current life, and that is why we have the
texasghetto.com web page. There are links to some of
the participants' own artistic web sites. In the
past, those kinds of posts has always been welcome and
received positive feedback. You explain it.
Jon: we are not offended by different opinions, rather
by sloppy or questionable facts. I wish that you would
quit making Mike E out as the enemy. And I find it
very inconsistent how upset you are about Wali being
offended and removing himself (IF you really think
that is what happened), yet don't have a problem with
DL (a relative stranger) offending Tele prompting him
to temporarily entertain the idea of unsubscribing.
Fontaine: sorry you think this is silly, some of us
don't.
Like I said, maybe I'm just tired this morning. I am
looking forward to returning to my email later today
or this evening to read and respond to some of the
thought provoking, and spiritually uplifting notes
Carol has passed to me.
Hanging in there, wavering in enthusiasm, and feeling
humorless.
Connie
Thanks Steph ;-)
