Mike-- I'm not too sure what Laird meant by his comment, which may have been
just hyperbole. However, if I thought it was hyberbole, unpatriotic lies or
just bull, I would have asked him to show us his sources, and have warned
him not to make unsupported statements of a factual nature without real
factual backing. That would be good advice for anyone on the list! I also
would criticize Laird for bringing in stuff that he is interested in, but
that doesn't really follow the thread of our postings. But just to take him
off the list as you did is to cease all possiility of clarification, leaving
you with the last word. Our list is not a war where we "execute the
traitors" by delisting them without going through at least a semblance of
democratic outreach. You failed to do that, and now are failing to bow to
the will of the three to one margin of voting members who reject your
decision. It's not too late to change your mind! Give it some thought.
