Hey John,
The commercial version of Argus, Argus Pro, supports IPv6 for the ARGUS_MONITOR_ID, and allows for an optional 32-bit interface name, to further define where flows are coming from.  Allows for Argus Pro to offer up to 20-byte source identifiers.  Argus Pro is available, holler if you have an interest.

Haven't had any requests on the open source side for bigger srcid's.
