Issues configuring SASL on Ubuntu 14 LTS

Hey Jesse,
So I’ve been poking around quite a bit, and I suspect that we’re running into
a sasl problem, possibly due to incomplete installation.

I’ve installed everything sasl, and verified that things are
working correctly, but I’m still getting the internal server
errors, on argus-3.0.6.rc3 which did work in the past.

I’m going to keep on this, as it is one of the last things to do
for 3.0.8, so hopefully I’ll have something later today.

Are you using saslauthd or auxprop to do the password checking ???
