Thanks, CS.  This has been an interesting adventure.  :-)

Is the record blob the entire record including the total packet?  (We 
capture all 1500 bytes of every packet.)  If it is, I *might* want to keep 
it, since it would make searching faster.  But there's always the concern 
about drive space as well.
