Hey Mike,
For mysql support, you should use the development version of the clients, as there have been quite a number of bug fixes there.

The rasqlinsert() ihere does what you would like.

Subject: [ARGUS] rasqlinsert crashing
Sent: Apr 20, 2010 2:09 AM
Hello,
My host is debian lenny and I have downloaded/compiled argus 3.0.2.
I am collecting cisco netflow v5 data with radium and things seem well.
Now I am trying to stuff it into a mysql database and occasionally as
it's running, it crashes. I have caught one however and the message was:
ArgusError: 22:14:44.846674 ArgusCopyRecordStruct: dsr 3 len is zero
My command line is:
rasqlinsert -S localhost:5000 -w mysql://root:xxx@localhost/argus/xdata
-s srcid proto saddr sport daddr dport pkts bytes -
I am a new argus user and wouldn't know where to look for this
problem so I thought I'd post.
Also, is there a reason why 'rasqlinsert' needs to work like ratop?
Is there another way to just collect netflow data and stuff into sql
without all the fancy display and such?
Thanks.
