Argus on 64 / 32-bit machines.

Hello,

We have some 32-bit hosts with argus-2.

Tried on a 64 (AMD Opteron) with Debian/Lenny:
 	Dist(2.0.6.fixes.1) argus -> Dist ra works.
 	argus-3.0.2 -> clients-3.0.2.beta.12 ra works.
 	Dist argus -> clients-3.0.2.beta.12 ra does not work

Moved to a 32-bit host.

         64-3.0.2 data - 3.0.2 ra works
 	64-2.0.6 data - 3.0.2 ra does not work

Tries 32-bit 2.0.6.fixes.1 argus data

 	32-2.0.6 data - 3.0.2 ra works a bit, then coredumps
 	32-2.0.6 data - 2.0.6 ra works

Feels like some signedness / NBO / wordlength problem?
How to handle this? Is it possible to 'fix' argus-2 data so that it can be 
read by 3.0.2? Is it possible to convert argus-3-data to argus-2 while
migrating?
