You could try a more personal approach and try calling him. He might be
the reasonable sort who, having realised you'd gone to some considerable
effort to get hold of him, would oblige and change the name. Info
available on his domain whois records.
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=tcp4me.com.
If that doesn't work maybe you could contact his ISP/Hosting provider.
The ip is part of the Broadview Networks block,
http://www.broadviewnet.com/contact_us/contact_content1.asp.
Two cost free options to consider...
Cheers,
Stew

Subject: [ARGUS] suggestions regarding "argus the all seeing eye"
Gentle people,
I again for the 50th time or so, have just finished sending another
"did you know that the argus eye software you are promoting has
inappropriately taken the argus name" email to a software site.
This one was macports.org.
Any suggestions as to what I/we/anyone can do to deal with this?
My strategy has been to troll the net every so often and send emails to
sites that are promoting it. Legally, our project has the right to
trademark
the name "argus" for network monitoring, as we've been using the name
for so long. This is of course an expense and time not well spent.
Anybody know this guy Jeff Weisberg and can go burn his house down
or something?
Carter
