	I'm not seeing this. I started argus on the Athelon box about an 
hour or so ago and memory looks reasonable at this point (although it may 
be a traffic issue of some kind):

root     28770 35.0  1.0  41256 37844 pts/2    SL   12:37  15:12 argus -P 560 -i eth6 -U 512 -m -D2 -F /archive/argus.conf
root     29130  0.0  0.0   2856   716 pts/2    S+   13:20   0:00 grep argus

	Its in the same general ballpark as the IBM was on the same connection.
Its an unusal case when my network is normal (for some value of normal) :-).
