Gentle people,
I have uploaded new versions of argus and the clients to the web site.

    ftp://qosient.com/dev/argus-3.0

Given the code stability for argus-3.0.0, it is now officially ready
to go
and frozen. For those working on packaging, the current
argus-3.0.0.tar.gz
code base will be the official release, and we should be working to make
that the base for the RPM's and Debian distribution work (if there is
still interest). Documentation, README's, ChangeLog's, etc.. may
change slightly to reflect final refinements, but I hope that those
will be very minor. I intend to move the FAQ to the web and wiki
sites and modify the web pages to be more descriptive for how to
do things, so some of the docs may disappear before we're done.
We'll make these decisions on the list.

If anyone see's anything that is in arear's, please don't be shy!!!!

The client distribution is ready, with only one final pass of testing
for
rastream(), rabins() and radium(). Each of these programs have had
outstanding bug reports in the last 2 weeks, so I need to shake them
out, but the client code base is now complete (all the functionality is
there) and we'll need a final pass at documentation.

Thanks for all the attention and support, its been a long road to
this point, and I really appreciate all the hard work each of you
have done on the list.

Carter
