new small memory argus and clients

	Memory is still growing, although perhaps not deadly high yet (although
the segfault argues there are problems, and small.rc.2 stayed under a couple
of hundred K all weekend and didn't seg fault when HUPed :-)). 
	Are those on Intel still seeing problems? I can arrange to run 
small.rc.2 on an Intel dual athelon machine (32 bit) and see what it does.
