	So how does that work? I don't see anything in the configure scripts or
Makefiles that looks like it would be checking for the existence of
those files? Are there other magic files that control compilation of
argus? Or are those a feature of GNU make that I never knew about? They
have the same effect under FreeBSD, so it's not a linux-ism.
