	This looks like the ticket. Compiles and runs on 

Mac OS10.2 (if someone still has 10.1 a test there would be good, but it 
	    should still work I think we just added a change to make 10.2
	    happy)
Netbsd 1.7  (I notice that bpf is still broken for partially filled buffers)
FreeBSD 4.7  (I expect 5/5.1 will be fine too but haven't tried it yet)
OpenBSD 3.2
