Argus Problems on RH 7.2

Hi,
Previously I sent a note to carter saying that argus 2.0.4 segfauls on
RH 7.2.  This is true, and it turns out the culprit is libpcap with
default 7.2.  After downloading libpcap from tcpdump.org and
installing, everything worked fine.

In an effort to keep head bashing from this problem to a minimum,
please note that RH 7.2 for i386 libpcap appears broken. 

(BTW, another indication is that tcpdump was returning a negative byte count)
