rasort hang

	An initial look says the rasort hang is probably data size not bad
data. I tried one on some 600 megs of files and it hangs some way in, but
a subset of the same files works fine (bumping some of the early files out). 
I recompiled with debug and have a one currently running under gdb and
when it hangs I'll have a poke.
