Removing some tags in argus CVS

Gentle people,
   For those that are using CVS, there are a large
number of tags in the repository right now, as I
tagged all versions from [a-Z] and some of the
beta code.  Now that we've released, I would like
to remove the [a-Z] and beta tags, as commands like:

   cvs status -v ArgusUtil.c

now has more than a full screen of output.  Any
objections?
