Hey Peter,
I was the sponser at FORE that provided CoralReef
their FORE cards and source code. They just pass up
the 1st cells of every AAL 5 frame that comes into the
SAR function. There is really no processing of the
headers in the card. At least thats what they did
when I was at FORE.
The AGP interface suggest was really something of
a grin, but I am interested in the feasibility of such
an approach since it is the fastest path to memory
in a WinTel box, and there is no reason that it has to
be a video processor at the other end of it.
