I presume it's simply an argus output file (I haven't seen Suse and have
no idea what you have set up)..   If the file's not empty (and growing),
try "ra -r /log/argus.log" and see if you get anything (ra would be
wherever the rest of the argus binaries are:-)..

By the way, for future faq-type questions, try argus at lists.andrew.cmu.edu
and you can subscribe via majordomo at argus-request at lists.andrew.cmu.edu.
Probably a better chance to get a response there.
